Five Manitobans selected for Prairie Wolfpack “best of the west”

July 27, 2019

Five Manitobans selected for Prairie Wolfpack “best of the west” game in Kelowna.

In an eagerly anticipated clash showcasing the best in Western Canadian rugby, five Manitobans will look to take the field after being selected by coach Graeme Moffat.

The players were recognised for their performances in the Prairie Super League in which the Manitoba finished third behind the Albertan powerhouses featuring several MLR and Candian capped players.

The players have been in camp for a week in Alberta before bussing to Kelowna, receiving their jerseys and some words of wisdom from rugby dad and former NHL star Andrew Ference in a low-key ceremony on Friday.

Rugby Manitoba would like to extend congratulations to the men on their selection and to the coaches and clubs that have put in the time and effort to help give the opportunity to the players.
