Congratulations to the Men's Wombats and the Lady Assassins on taking out the prize money for RUGBYMANIA 2019. A great day was had by all despite the rainy weather!
The 2019 tournament is going to be held at Maple Grove Rugby Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We are looking for the event to build on the success of previous years, and cement the event as a priority for clubs each year. We are targeting teams from outside of Manitoba to ensure a competitive and enjoyable event is held!
This will be a full day of entertaining rugby you won’t want to miss, as well as having activities for families to come down and enjoy.
EVENT DETAILS
WHEN: June 8th 2019
TIME: Start 9 am
TOURNAMENT TYPE: Men’s and Women’s 7 aside
PRIZE MONEY: $3,000 for Men’s winner & $2,000 for Women’s winner
ENTRY COST: $300 before May 5th $350 from May 6th
ENTRY COST INCLUDES: Team entry into the tournament, FREE food and FREE beer at the grounds after both men’s and women’s finals, entry into the Rugby Mania after party event at the Edge.
Individuals who are not registered with a team are welcome to partake in the food and unlimited beer after the finals for a price of $30.
OTHER INFO: 50/50 run throughout the day and the opportunity to be part of the BIGGEST boat race in Canada (on that day…)
