As a player, coach, and administrator, his dedication brought success and mentorship to countless players. Wayne's legacy lives on in the passion he instilled in all who played by his side.
Amanda Thornborough – Player: From Brandon, MB to the global stage, Amanda’s rugby journey is a testament to her skill and tenacity. Representing Canada in two Women’s Rugby World Cups, she became a celebrated member of both the national and historic Barbarians team. Her poise and professionalism continue to inspire future generations of players.
Troy Williams – Builder: Known for his skill on the field and leadership off it, Troy’s contributions to the Assassins RFC and Manitoba rugby span decades. As a coach, player, and administrator, he was vital in shaping the club and the sport in the province. His commitment to rugby excellence is felt throughout the Manitoba rugby community.
