Discipline & Officials

Rugby Manitoba has jurisdiction over all sanctioned rugby in Manitoba  On behalf of its member clubs and associations, it shall have the power to administer discipline for any incident, conduct, or behaviour during rugby events or activities which Rugby Manitoba sanctions within the province of Manitoba.

The importance of the reputation of rugby cannot be overstated, and care must be taken, especially by players, team management and officials to prevent the reputation of the game from being diminished by the actions of a few.  

Any reported incidents shall be dealt with swiftly in accordance with the outlined Rules of Competition for leagues and/or Rugby Manitoba Discipline Procedures.

It is NOT the function of the Disciplinary Committee to determine guilt.  The referee's decision on culpability is final.

Officials Clinics

The current Officials course listing can be found at training.rugbycanada.ca.

One time $25 fee to register for a username on that website, then you are eligible to complete precourse work and register for the clinics listed. 

TWO STEP PROCESS

  1. Register for the website and pay $25
  2. Complete the Precourse work to be able to Register for the course.
