Rugby Manitoba, following the Long-Term Rugby Development Model has established a

pathway to assist young athletes to achieve their best while providing meaningful playing

opportunities. The pathway to represent Manitoba and hopefully Canada at the highest level, requires athletes to

participate in a meaningful way. 

This pathway includes;

Phase 1: November 2019- January 2020 DOB 2002, 2003, 2004 (UDUGS developmental)

November 10, 2019 10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Shilo Recreation Centre, Shilo Manitoba

December 1st, 2019 11a.m.-1 p.m. Shilo Recreation Centre, Shilo Manitoba

December 15th, 2019 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Shilo Recreation Centre, Shilo Manitoba

Man-Sask 7s Competition January 2 and 3; 2020 Moosejaw, SK.

The Cost for Phase 1 is $90.00. Anyone wanting to be considered for selection to Provincial

Team in Phase 2 must participate. This cost will include training and 4-6 games in MooseJaw.

2004 athletes not selected for Provincial U18 in February 2020, will be invited to re-join the Canada Games training group in May 2020. 

Athletes will be surveyed for preferred transportation to Moosejaw

and accommodations will be cost shared by athletes.

You must be registered with with Rugby Canada through Sportlomo in order to participate. Please contact Rugby

Phase 2: January-April 2020 (Provincial U-18 team) 2002, 2003, 2004 (exceptional status)

Western Canadian Championships February 14-17 th , 2020 Edmonton, Ab.

March 8th, 2020 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Shilo Recreation Centre, Shilo Manitoba 

April 5th , 2020 TBA

Tropical 7s Tournament April 8-14, 2020 Orlando, Fla.

Phase 2 cost will be shared and divided based on travelling 12 athletes selected.
